I honestly hate this book. The vast majority of this book spends time steering you away from purchasing an African Grey. Duh... I already have the bird and wanted to gather all the info I can so I can be the best owner.Out of the 100 or so pages of this book 50 pages of it is spent describing why if you dont have time for this or room for this or money for this you made are not worthy. I honestly can't stand all of these parrot snobs.If you are looking for some tips save your money and just join a forum. This was a really great book. It really told You the Good things and the bad things that you could do to your bird or even birds. It comes to me if I’m reading about Dogs or Birds mostly this Bird the African Grey is both likes to have a friend to . Bark with or talk to each other. I have a a Lab and a Yorke and they have more fun playing with each other. They are just like our little ones once were. They go to the toy box get a toy and know mater who it is big or small tease the other one with it. Till I say This Enough put it away they go and drop it in there toy box. The more I read about these Birds that they will be the same in there very large cage they say You should have for them. This one place I called that was listed in the books I read said they train all there birds to be around Dogs. I bet it really could get VERY LOUD with Birds talking that the Dog has his Toy or Dog Barking because the Bird is on Top of his Six Foot Tall Cage and the Dog can not reach up there. How about if I let you know next year at this time. That’s if I make it with all these New Style of Kids I’ll call them. It will be March 1st, 2021.
